ChemInform Abstract: Microwave‐Mediated Synthesis and Antibacterial Activity of Some Novel 2‐(Substituted Biphenyl) Benzimidazoles via Suzuki—Miyaura Cross Coupling Reaction and Their N‐Substituted Derivatives.
Abstract:Derivatives. -Novel 2-biaryl-benzimidazoles (V) and (VII) are prepared via microwave-assisted Suzuki-Miyaura coupling followed by alkylation and acylation, respectively. All synthesized compounds are screened for their antibacterial activity against S. aureus and S. typhimurium. -(RAUT, C. N.; BHARAMBE, S. M.; PAWAR, Y. A.; MAHULIKAR*, P. P.; J. Heterocycl.
