ChemInform Abstract: Mechanism of Oxidations in Partially Aqueous Media: Kinetics of Oxidation of Thiosemicarbazide and Thiosemicarbazone by Chloramine‐T and Dichloramine‐T in Aqueous Methanol.
Abstract:ChemInform Abstract The oxidation of (I) is of second (zero) order with respect to (IIa) (substrate) and of inverse first order with respect to H+. On using the oxidant (IIb) a change to first order dependence in (IIb) is observed. The kinetics of the oxidation of thiosemicarbazide by (II) show first (fractional) dependence in the concentration of the oxidant (substrate).
