Abstract: Lewis Acid-Catalyzed Ring-Opening Functionalizations of 1,4-Epoxy-1,4-dihydronaphthalenes. -A novel Lewis acid-catalyzed ring-opening allylation, cyanation and azidation of 1,4-disubstituted 1,4-epoxynaphthalenes is reported.
