ChemInform Abstract: La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 Perovskite Synthesized by Reactive Milling Method: The Effect of Particle Size on the Magnetic and Electrical Properties.

Abstract: . -Nanocrystalline samples of the title compound are prepared by reactive milling of mixtures of La2O3, CaCO3, and MnO2, followed by annealing at 700-1000°C in air for 5 h. They are characterized by XRD, FESEM, electrical resistivity, and magnetic measurements. The average crystallite size increases from 16 to 73 nm with increasing annealing temperature.
