Abstract: ChemInform Abstract The kinetics of the reactions given in the scheme using CH3COOD as well lead to a 2H fractionation factor of 0.58 ±0.05 for AcO-...HOAc, a kinetic solvent isotope effect of kAcOH/kAcOD = 0.66 ±0.10 and some further kinetic and equilibrium data.
