ChemInform Abstract: Inhibition of 5‐Lipoxygenase by Substituted 3,4‐Dihydro‐2H‐1,4‐thiazines.

Abstract: Cyclocondensation of the α‐chlorophenylacetyl chloride (I) with the δ‐acetyl cysteamine (II) gives the lactam (III) which is N‐alkylated and subsequently reduced to produce the dihydrothiazines (VI), together with the tetrahydrothiazines (VII).
