Facile and Controllable Synthesis of Multiply Substituted Benzenes via a Formal [3 + 3] Cycloaddition Approach. -An efficient protocol for preparation of di-to pentasubstituted benzene derivatives from ,-unsaturated carbonyl derivatives and ylides is presented.
