Abstract: EPR Characterization of (CeO 2 ) 1−y (La 2 CuO 4 )y Oxide Mixtures and Their Catalytic Activity for NO Reduction by CO.-Title compounds with y = 0, 0.17, 0.25, 0.35, 0,43 and 0.50 are prepared by thermal treatment of La 2 O 3 , CeO 2 and CuO in molten NH 4 NO 3 . The interaction among the oxides results in the formation of an La 2 O 3 -CeO 2 solid solution over a wide range of composition. CuO segregation over the surface takes place.
