2000 polyphenyl derivatives polyphenyl derivatives Q 0700 21 -098 Directed ortho Metalation and Suzuki-Miyaura Cross-Coupling Connections: Regiospecific Synthesis of all Isomeric Chlorodihydroxybiphenyls for Microbial Degradation Studies of PCBs. -The synthesis of six isomeric chlorodihydroxybiphenyls, e.g. (IVb), (IX), and (XIV), is carried out by combining the directed ortho metalation with the Pd-catalyzed Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction.
