Abstract

1998 magnetic resonance, nuclear quadrupole resonance magnetic resonance, nuclear quadrupole resonance (solids and liquids) D 6560 -013Crystal Structure Studies on the Garnet Y 3 Al 5 O 12 by 27 Al Single-Crystal NMR Spectroscopy.-By rotation of an yttrium aluminum garnet single crystal about three perpendicular axes 93 27 Al NMR spectra are acquired, resulting in the observation of 3132 resonance frequencies. These are assigned to three tetrahedral and four octahedral Al sites.
