Abstract

Claisen Condensations with Selected Dithioesters.Synthesis of Special 3-Methylthio-acrylonitriles.-Claisen condensation of (I) with the CH-acidic derivatives (II) leads to the methylthio-acrylonitriles of type (IV) in the presence of NaH or under phase-transfer conditions. The analogues (V) are obtained similarly (yield 59-75%). With excess of (VII) (VIII) is obtained. The orange crystals of (XI) are available analogously. - (MAYER, R.; HARTENHAUER, H.; GRUNER, M.; J.
