Abstract:Carbohydrates U 0500Catalytic Glycosylation with Glycosyl Thioimidate Donors. -A new class of glycosyl thioimidates such as (III) or (VII) are easily prepared from readily available glycosyl thiols. These thioimidates can be activated effectively with catalytic amounts of a Lewis acid to give the glycosidation products. The availability, high stability, and catalytic activating properties of this type of donors may render them a great use in carbohydrate synthesis. -(LUCAS-LOPEZ, C.; MURPHY, N.; ZHU*, X.; Eur.… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
