Abstract: Catalytic Asymmetric Allylation of 3,4-Dihydroisoquinolines and Its Application to the Synthesis of Isoquinoline Alkaloids. -An improved method allows formation of the 1-allylated tetrahydroisoquinolines (S)-and (R)-(III) with good enantioselectivity.
