Abstract

Base-Promoted Transformation of 2-C(O)R-1,8-Bis(dimethylamino)naphthalenes into Benzo[g]indoleDerivatives. -Benzo[g]indole derivatives [(IV), (V), (VI), and (IX)] are synthesized starting from bis(dimethylamino)naphthalene derivative (I) through base-promoted transformation via pyrrole ring closure. -(KACHALKINA, S.
