Abstract: The Ni/Cu‐catalyzed reaction of 1‐arylalkenes with aryl chlorides and bis(pinacolato)diboron proceeds readily to afford 2‐boryl‐1,1‐diarylalkanes (IVa‐i), whilst the analogous reaction with 1‐octene fails.
