Abstract

Reactions. -The coupling of pentafluorobenzenesulfonates and aryl boronic acids proceeds under mild conditions to give a wide range of biaryls including hindered ortho-substituted derivatives. The process exhibits high chemoselectivity over tosylates, mesylates, and chlorides as shown for substrates (IVd-f).
