Abstract:Anti-Cocaine Catalytic Antibodies: A Synthetic Approach to Improved Antibody Diversity.-The syntheses of three immunogenic conjugates of the transition-state analogue (I) of cocaine benzoyl ester hydrolysis which have indentical phosphonate monoester core structures but varying tether sites for attachment to carrier protein are described. The tether sites are at the methyl ester, at the 4'-phenyl position and at the tropane nitrogen. Both the kinetics and the structural diversity of the catalytic antibodies ar… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
