Abstract: Bei der Behandlung mit wäßriger Essigsäure erhält man aus der 5‐S‐Acetyl‐ 3,6‐di‐O‐benzyl‐1,2‐O‐isopropyliden‐5‐thio‐a‐D‐glucofuranose (I), die in bekannter Weise hergestellt wurde, 78% der Glucofuranose (II) und 16% der Thioglucopyranose (III).
