Abstract

An Efficient Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Cotinine and Iso-Cotinine Analogues from an Ugi-4CR Approach. -The cotinine analogues [e.g. (VI)] are synthesized from 3-pyridinylaldehydes [e.g. (I)] in two steps under base-mediated reaction conditions.
