Abstract: 6‐Chlor‐nitrophenanthridine (I) bilden mit Äthanolamin (II) und einem Äquivalent Pyridin innerhalb einer Stunde beim Erhitzen auf 100°C die 6‐Hydroxy= äthylamino‐phenanthridine (III), die beim weiteren Erhitzen auf 110 ‐ 120°C während 24 ‐ 32 Stdn. durch Äthanolamin zu (IV) reduziert werden.
