Abstract: Adsorption and Selective Oxidation of H2S on Alumina Powders: in-situ UV-VIS Studies in a Differential Reactor.-Title studies in transmission and reflection mode as well as on-line GC and TPD MS are performed on pressed and powdered wafers made from industrial alumina in different microreactor cells at 400 • C. The absorption peaks at 290 nm during H2S and SO2 adsorption are assigned to chemisorbed species.
