ChemInform Abstract: A Grignard‐Type Phase‐Vanishing Method: Generation of Organomagnesium Reagent and Its Subsequent Addition to Carbonyl Compounds.

Abstract: Carbonyl Compounds. -Grignard reagents are efficiently generated in a quadraphasic phase-vanishing system containing diethyl ether, magnesium, perfluoropolyether, and iodoalkane. The Grignard reagents are subsequently added to various carbonyl compounds in the ether layer affording alkylated alcohols in good yield. -(MATSUBARA*, H.; NIWA, Y.; MATAKE, R.; Synlett 26 (2015) 9, 1276-1280, http://dx.
