Abstract

A Convenient Method for the Preparation of Chiral Phosphonoacetamides and Their Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons Reaction. -The reaction of phosphonoacetamides (I) and (XIII) affords the corresponding chiral α,β-unsaturated amides generally with high selectivities (E:Z>95:5). The pure (E) isomers are isolated after flash chromatography.
