Abstract: 2000 amines amines (benzene compounds) Q 0120 47 -092 A Combinatorial Chemistry Approach to New Materials for Non-Linear Optics. Part 1. Five Schiff Bases. -Schiff bases (I) and (II) are synthesized by condensation of the corresponding amines and aldehydes. The structures of five of them, i.e. (Ia), (Ib), (IIa), (IIb), and (IIc), are determined by single crystal X-ray analyses whereas the crystals of Schiff base (Ic) are too small to be analyzed.
