Abstract

1992organo-boron compounds, nonmetal heterocycles organo-boron compounds, nonmetal heterocycles S 0047 -2171-Trimethylsilyl-2,4,6-triethylborazine and Related Species.-The unsymmetrically substituted borazine (IIIa) is obtained by performing the reaction of (I) with (II) in toluene at 0 • C. Based on this result, an improved preparation of the analogue (IIIb) is carried out. The reaction of (IIIb) with BCl3 gives (V), whereas BBr3 yields, besides (VII), the compounds (VIII) and (IX).
