ChemInform Abstract: 1.6‐Diaminohexane as Template in the Synthesis of Zeolite ZSM‐5.

Abstract

ChemInform Abstract The reaction of a mixture characterized by the molar ratios H2O:SiO2 = 20, SiO2:Al2O3 = 120, Na2O:SiO2 = 0.3 and 1.6-diaminohexane (DAH) as template at 182 rc C, yields ZSM-5 besides α-quartz. The products obtained are characterized by RD, SEM, IR spectroscopy, TG and DTG. The dependencies of the reaction on the OH-/SiO2 and DAH/SiO2 ratios and on reaction time are discussed in detail.
