Abstract: Das aus CS2 (I) mit Alkalimetallen und Benzoylchlorid zugängliche Bisbenzoylthio‐dithiolthion (II) wird nach alkalischer Verseifung‐durch Methyliodid (III) zu Bismethylthio‐dithiolthion (IV) alkyliert, das mit überschüssigem (III) das Trismethylthio‐dithioliumiodid (V) liefert.
