Chemie mit substituentenfreien Silicium‐Clustern in Lösung – ein Übergangsmetallkomplex eines Polysilicid‐Anions

Abstract

Reine Silicium‐Bausteine in Lösung erweitern das Repertoire der Materialwissenschaft im Bereich der Gruppe‐14‐Elemente. Die Bildung des Komplexanions [{Ni(CO)2}2(μ‐Si9)2]8− demonstriert, dass das Si94−‐Zintl‐Anion für gezielte Synthesen nutzbar ist (siehe Schema).

Detection of the Elusive Highly Charged Zintl Ions Si44− and Sn44− in Liquid Ammonia by NMR Spectroscopy

[16] Fässler et al also succeeded in the synthesis of a functionalized silicide, [(MesCu) 2 (h 3 -Si 4 )] 4À (Mes = 2,4,6-Me 3 C 6 H 2 ), which contains Si 4 tetrahedra bonded to copper, in liquid ammonia from a similar starting material.
