Abstract: The hyperpolarization of nuclear spins has enabled real-time molecular magnetic resonance imaging. Hyperpolarized tracers like pyruvate have enabled visualization of real-time metabolism in vitro and in vivo. However, the scope of hyperpolarizable molecules remains limited.
