Abstract: Chemical synthesis of proteins bearing baselabile post-translational modifications (PTMs) is a challenging task. For instance, O-acetylation and Spalmitoylation PTMs cannot survive Fmoc removal conditions during Fmoc-solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS).
