Chemical EOR for Heavy Oil: The Canadian Experience

Abstract: Chemical EOR methods such as polymer flooding and ASP (Alkaline-Surfactant-Polymer) are generally not considered suitable for oil viscosities over one or two hundred cp (polymer) or even less (SP/ASP).
