Abstract:Stem bark of Calophyllum inophyllum was extracted with aqueous methanol and screened for secondary metabolites. The crude extract was partitioned with n-hexane to remove fat-soluble constituents, thereafter a portion of the defatted extract was purified using silica gel column chromatography.
