“…Elassi et al (7) showed that the major compounds present in the essential oils of 10 Eucalyptus species had expected similarities because they were obtained from plants belonging to the same genus, followed by a-pinene, p-cymene, borneol, cryptone, spathulenol, viridifl orol and limonene. Ogunwande et al (22) showed that β-pinene (39.4%) and α-pinene (30.4%) were the dominant constituents in oil samples obtained from E. tereticornis Smith and Eucalyptus grandis W.
