Chemical and biological studies onCichorium intybusL.

Abstract: Cichorium intybus L. (Asteraceae family) is a worldwide grown plant known as chicory. In traditional medicine, this plant is used as diuretic, anti-inflammatory, digestive, cardiotonic and liver tonic.
