Cheap and disposable gold and silver electrodes: Trends in the application of compact discs and digital versatile discs for electroanalytical chemistry

Abstract: Highlights Compact discs and digital versatile discs can be readily used to give cheap reproducible Au and Ag electrodes. Their fabrication and use in electroanalytical chemistry is reviewed. Applications, performance characteristics and construction details are reviewed.
