Charmonia and bottomonia in asymmetric magnetized hot nuclear matter

Abstract: We investigate the mass-shift of P -wave charmonium (χ c0 , χ c1 ) and S and P -wave bottomonium (η b , Υ, χ b0 and χ b1 ) states in magnetized hot asymmetric nuclear matter using the unification of QCD sum rules (QCDSR) and chiral SU (3) model. Within QCDSR, we use two approaches, i.e., moment sum rule and Borel sum rule. The magnetic field induced scalar gluon condensate αs π G a µν G aµν and the twist-2 gluon operator αs π G a µσ G a ν σ calculated in chiral SU (3) model are utilised in QCD sum rules to cal… Show more

“…For instance, using the combined approach of chiral model and QCD sum rules the in-medium mass and decay constant of scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector D mesons were calculated with [21,73] and without incorporating the effect of the external magnetic field [74][75][76][77]. Using the same combination, the medium modified properties of charmonia and bottomonia were studied in the hot magnetized asymmetric nuclear matter [20,34,78].…”

“…Under a magnetic field, the nuclear matter is magnetized, and its property including gluon condensates should be modified. Quarkonia in isospin symmetric or asymmetric magnetized nuclear matter were studied by effective models [90][91][92] and QCD sum rules [93][94][95][96]. In particular, the studies of in-medium partial decay width, such as charmonia to D D and bottomonia to B B, might be interesting as an observable, as emphasized in Refs.…”

“…The chiral model is a nonperturbative hadron based model to describe the in-medium properties of hadronic matter [5][6][7]59,[69][70][71][72][73][74][75][76][77][78][79]. It has also been applied to study the effect of a magnetic field on the in-medium properties of quarkonia [10,74] and open charm mesons [68,79]. To study the KK loop contributions in the φ meson decay, we use the effective Lagrangian of the φKK interactions and solve the loop integral by using regularization techniques [19,80].…”
