“…An even higher sample dilution is disadvantageous because with this, coagulation activities C50 % already produce very long coagulation times (>I20 s) which are difficult to reproduce. In order to get a PT result which is independent of the reagent charge, as in humans (SPANUTH et al, 1984) the coagulation activity (Yo) should be calculated based on a PFP calibration curve. The reference range is then 59-148 % for a 1 :2O sample dilution.…”
