Characterizing Tourism Destination and Policies Forward: The Case in Bantayan Island, Philippines

Abstract: This work reports a holistic tourism destination assessment of Bantayan Island(Philippines) using an expanded tourism area life cycle (TALC) model. The expanded TALC contains five evaluation areas: destination characteristics, marketing response, economic impact, social impact, and environmental impact. “…Existen muchos beneficios no solo para estudiantes, sino también para los empleadores, por lo que los estudiantes se benefician de la experiencia laboral porque tienen oportunidad de realizar trabajos prácticos para complementar los conocimientos teóricos (Velde & Cooper, 2000).
