Characterization of UV light sensors using Brillouin optical correlation domain analysis

Abstract: Azobenzene polymer based distributed ultraviolet sensor is characterized by Brillouin optical correlation domain analysis. Three types of UV sensor probes are made by coating the azobenzene polymer on bare fiber, acylated coated fiber and polyimide coated fiber. Brillouin frequency response by the UV exposure of each probe sensors are presented.
