Abstract: Fusobacterium necrophorum, an anaerobic Gram-negative pathogen, causes necrotic cattle infections, impacting livestock health and the US feedlot industry. Antibiotic administration is the mainstay for treating F. necrophorum infections, although resistance hampers their effectiveness.
