Characterization of some stone samples of archaeological interest via Compton profile analysis

Abstract: In the present investigation, Compton profiles of archaeologically important samples such as White marble, Black stone and soap stone were normalized by using the effective atomic number determined from their single differential scattering cross section measured in a goniometer assembly with a HpGe detector.
