Abstract:The characterization of respirable dust on the basis of constituent fractions and particle sizes is increasingly of concern for evaluating exposure hazards. For high-resolution particle analysis, scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) can be an effective tool.
