Characterization of Precursor-Dependent Steroidogenesis in Human Prostate Cancer Models

Abstract: Castration-resistant prostate tumors acquire the independent capacity to generate androgens by upregulating steroidogenic enzymes or using steroid precursors produced by the adrenal glands for continued growth and sustainability.
