The preparation of research proposals is a challenge faced by anyone who wants to contribute to scientific research, since the specific requirements of different fields of study often cause technical or management aspects of research, such as obtaining funds to carry out research efforts, to be intermingled. The basis of a research proposal is the presentation and substantiation of the necessity of studying a particular problem, as well as the practical manner in which the study will be conducted. The objective of this article is to document the main attributes of each part of a research proposal. Therefore, we present a condensed and practical approach so that a research proposal can be consolidated in a document that enables the evaluation of the validity and usefulness of the planned study. Subsequently, the detailed and appropriately organized proposal will help the researcher in the development and execution of the study. This article has important implications for the development of well-structured and well-organized research proposals, which can, in turn, initiate high-quality scientific research efforts across all disciplines of science education.

The objective of this project was: "To evaluate the work stress of the teachers of the Atahualpa Educational Unit, through the use of a web application with client-server characteristics designed for this purpose". The software was developed applying the SCRUM methodology and free software tools such as PHP, Apache and MySQL were used. Once the software was developed, the research methodology was applied. The study was framed in a quale-quantitative research paradigm. The techniques used were a teacher survey and a principal interview. We worked with a population of 107 teachers and the sample was not calculated. The results obtained after performing the electronic stress assessment using the software developed were: 1% showed medium and high emotional exhaustion, 7% were high and 9% medium in terms of depersonalization (temporary feeling of "getting lost", feeling "different", "strange" or "like in a dream"), and 18% were low and 12% medium in terms of personal fulfillment. In conclusion, it can be said that: the developed software helps a lot in the automatic evaluation of work stress, since specifically in the case study the work stress of teachers is minimal, but it is necessary to improve the aspects of personal realization on the part of teachers and to reduce the existing depersonalization.

New and Noteworthy Records of Angiosperms from Pacific Biogeographical Region at Department of Chocó in Colombia, Including Four New Records for the Country

Six new or noteworthy records of Angiosperms from Colombia are presented based in herbarium specimens from the Chocó department in Colombia. Four are first records for the country, one is the first record for the Chocó department and one is the most recent record after 28 years of an endemic species to the Chocó Biogeographical region in Colombia. Cynometra dwyerii (Fabaceae), Pouteria fossicola (Sapotaceae) and Tachigali panamensis (Fabaceae) were heretofore known as restricted to Central America; Mosquitoxylum jamaicense (Anacardiaceae) was previously known from Central America, Caribbean and Ecuador, but no record for Colombia had been found; Casearia thamnia (Salicaceae) was recorded from Colombia through a specimen of the year 1916 from the Bolivar department, here its first record from the Chocó department is presented; Cremastosperma chococola (Annonaceae) is a endemic species to the biogeographic Chocó in Colombia, only known through three specimens and not collected since the year 1990. Information about protologue, type specimens, distinctive morphology, current geographical distribution, common names, and uses are provided for each record, besides notes about the relevance of the novel records are here presented. A geographical distribution map for these species in Colombia is presented, as well as digital plates composed by photographs of herbarium vouchers. Continue inventoring the biodiversity in the biogeographic Chocó as one of the global biodiversity hotspots is imperative. These records presented here provide useful information for future biological research and conservation actions for their respective species or their habitats.
