Abstract:Fly ash is used partially as a replacement to cement to make the concrete. Fly ash contains SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3 , which contribute to increase the strength of concrete. In the current investigation, fly ash has been replaced with varying percentages of nanosize in concrete, and the strength of the resulting hardened concrete has been evaluated. The production of nanosized fly ash has been made by the ball milling process and the analyses has been completed using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray diff… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
