Characterization of Fatty Acid Methyl Esters From Oils With Different Origins Using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy

Abstract: The fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) of triglycerides obtained by transesterification reaction in the presence of alkaline catalysts became a serious alternative of fossil fuels.
