Abstract: Citrobacter braakii (C. braakii) is an anaerobic, gram‐negative bacterium that has been isolated from the environment, food, and humans. Infection by C. braakii has been associated with acute mucosal inflammation in the intestine, respiratory tract, and urinary tract.
