Abstract:Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM), which can currently work well on Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC), cannot be produced efficiently. This is due to its high cost and properties such as high oxygen diffusion, presence of toxic sulphides, and a potential translucent substrate.
