Abstract:PurposeTo investigate and characterize the performance of a novel orthogonal dual‐layer alpha multileaf collimator (αMLC) mounted on the LinaTech VenusX linac.MethodsWe evaluated leaf positioning accuracy and reproducibility using an electronic portal imaging device through the picket fence test.
