Among various polymers, polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF), 10 which is the best known ferroelectric polymer and exhibits the highest pyroelectric coefficient (p ¼ 24-27 C/m 2 K) among the ferroelectric polymers, 11 is selected as the polymer matrix for the composites in this work.
